YOUR USER NAME & PASSWORD
• When you join Jeeni, you’ll receive a Welcome email with your User Name and your Password.
• Hit the link in your email, and you’ll be automatically logged-in the first time you visit.

FINDING & SELECTING YOUR ENTERTAINMENT

There’s so much available on Jeeni that we want you to find what suits you best as quickly and accurately as possible.

Use the search icon at the top right of your screen to find tracks by artist name, track title, locations, events, styles or any other key words and phrases you fancy.

Use the Channel Select menu to reveal the huge range of genres and types of entertainment on offer, and Jeeni will do all the searching for you.

WHAT A JEENI SUPERFAN GETS
Superfan membership is for you if you want to be in the Jeeni audience and not on the Jeeni stage. It’s completely free, and here’s what you get.

• ALL CHANNELS. There are a huge number of entertainment channels on Jeeni, covering music, spoken word, dance and everything in between. And if we don’t already have a channel that caters for you – tell us and we’ll create it!
• PERSONAL PROFILE SPOTLIGHT. Tell the world all about yourself and upload your own images.
• STARMAKER VOTER. You control the Jeeni charts! Vote for a track to help your favourite artists move up the charts and gain star status recognition.
• JEENI REWARDS. You get rewarded every step of the way with Jeeni: every time you play a track, vote, take part in a Jeeni Poll, even for logging in! There’s a whole chapter about your rewards and how to spend them in The Book of Jeeni.

WHAT A JEENI ARTIST GETS
As a Jeeni Artist you get everything your Superfans get, of course you do, but you get a whole lot more to help grow your fanbase and make real money. Your extras include the following:

• JEENI ARTIST SHOWCASE. Upload your tracks for the world to enjoy, select the best channels to attract the biggest audience, harness your social media to publicise your work even more, and build your fanbase.

WHAT A JEENI PRO GETS

• PRO SHOWCASE. The number of your track uploads are greatly increased, allowing you to showcase your archive and favourite material, as well as your latest releases. Your Pro Showcase also includes an opt-in to the Jeeni Gift service.
• 100% OF ALL JEENI GIFT INCOME. The Jeeni Gift service is completely optional for you to join as a Pro. Anyone can order customised productions from you, including dedications, greetings, and bespoke tracks, you agree the price direct with them and keep everything you earn.
• 100% OF ALL SALES INCOME. You’re paying us a modest membership fee, you deserve to keep everything you make, and we want absolutely nothing more. Sales from your releases, ticketing, merchandise, specials, whatever – the rewards are all yours.
• JEENI PRO MARKETING. Your inclusive, automated marketing service, along with full reports on each campaign you launch. This baby is so good there’s a whole chapter on it later in the book.

YOUR JEENI USER PROFILE
• Your Jeeni Profile is where you tell the world all about yourself. The first time you log-in, you’ll be taken to your Profile page automatically.
• After that you can go to My Profile from the MY JEENI menu at the top-right of your screen.

Step 1: upload your banner image
• This is the large image you want to display to the world.
• Your image can be a .png or .jpg graphic file.
• The maximum file size is 10MB.
• Your image should be in “landscape” or “letterbox” format.
• The minimum width should be 640 pixels.
• The maximum width should be 2560 pixels.
• You can crop your image to look best on mobiles and desktops.
• You can change your image as often as you like.
• To change your image go to the main menu MY JEENI > My Profile.
• Just roll over the image to reveal the selection box.
• Select a new image of the right size.
• As soon as it uploads it will be saved automatically.

Step 2: add your personal “gravatar” image
• This is the small square image that represents you.
• It is like a passport identity, an avatar or an icon.
• It can be a .png or .jpg graphic file.
• The maximum file size is 2MB.
• The minimum size should be 150 pixels square.
• The maximum size should be 512 pixels square.
• You can crop your “gravatar” image once it’s uploaded.
• You can change your image as often as you like.
• To change your image go to the main menu MY JEENI > My Profile.
• Just roll over the “gravatar” to reveal the selection box.
• Select a new image of the right size.
• As soon as it uploads it will be saved automatically.

Step 3: add text for About Me
• Use the edit icon next to About Me to call up the edit box.
• Type in your Title – a name or nickname identity.
• This is the title that will appear on your banner image.
• My Jeeni URL is the name of the link to share your own Jeeni page.
• About Me is where you tell the world about yourself.
• Hit the SAVE button when you’ve finished.
• You can change your Title and About Me text as often as you like.
• To change your text go to the main menu MY JEENI > My Profile.
• Click on the edit icon for About Me to reveal the editing box.
• Hit the SAVE button again when you’ve finished.

Step 4: pick a colour for your Title
• This is to make your title name or nickname stand out.
• The default colour is white, to show up against your banner image.
• Hover over your title to reveal the colour selector.
• Pick a text colour and hit the Submit button.
• You can change the colour of your title as often as you like.

Step 5: Add your Social Networks
• This is if you want to share your social networks with others.
• Click on the edit icon just below your title.
• Fill in as many social media address links as you like.
• Don’t forget to Save the links you have created.
• Your social network icons will appear on your profile page.

Step 6: Your unique Profile Page Address
• Your Jeeni Profile Page has a unique address.
• You can share this address via social media.
• You can copy this address using the Copy Link button.
• Now paste it into an email or blog or newsfeed to tell the world
about your Jeeni Profile.

SHOWCASES FOR ARTISTS AND PRO MEMBERS
• Your Showcase is where you put your creative talent in the spotlight.
• The first time you login, you will be taken to Create My Showcase.
• The step-by-step process is clearly shown on screen.
• The process is Profile > Images > Social > Showcase > Video
• You can come back to the process at any time via MY JEENI > My Showcase

Step 1: My Profile
• Type in your Title – a name or nickname identity.
• This is the title that will appear on your banner image.
• You can change the colour of your title for better contrast.
• Roll over your title to reveal the colour selector.
• My Jeeni URL – the name of the link for your own Jeeni page, for sharing and publicity.
• About Me – where you tell the world about yourself.
• Hit the SAVE & NEXT STEP button when you’ve finished.
• You will be taken to the next step automatically.

Step 2: Images
• Upload your banner image.

Step 3: Social Networks and Online Links
• This is where you publicise your online presence to fans.
• Fill in as many social media and other address links as you like.
• Your social network icons will be integrated with the graphics on your profile page automatically.
• Hit the SAVE & NEXT STEP button when you’ve finished.
• You will be taken to the next step automatically.

Step 4: Brand My Showcase
• This is where you add important text to attract new fans, make yourself easy to find, and harness search engines like Google.
• Name your showcase, either with your own name, your artist name, the name of your latest project, whatever it is you want to publicise most.
• You can change the name of your Showcase as often as you like.
• Now type in the most important aspects about your showcase in 500 characters.
• Use keywords to include your creative work, your location, your influences, collaborators, instrumentation, and whatever you think potential fans will be searching for.
• Hit the SAVE & NEXT STEP button when you’ve finished.
• You will be taken to the next step automatically.

Step 5: Upload My First Track
• Everything you need to know about uploading audios and videos and showcasing your creative work is in the next section – HOW TO UPLOAD TRACKS.

This section is a step-by-step guide on how to upload audio and video tracks. It’s for Artists and Pros only. Superfans can’t upload tracks.

Step 1: Your Track Content
• Videos of your work must be in MP4 format.
• Audio-only tracks must be in MP3 format.
• Track files should be no more than 50MB each.
• Your track content should contain original material. No covers please.
• Your content should be either your own copyright, or you must have permission from the copyright-holder to upload it.
• You cannot submit or upload any content that is obscene, illegal, threatening, defamatory, racist, sexist, phobic or otherwise offensive.
• You cannot upload any content to Jeeni that invades privacy or infringes the intellectual property of any other person, group or organisation.
• You cannot submit or upload any content to Jeeni that contains software viruses, mass mailings, spam, fake news or upsetting images.
• You cannot impersonate any other artist, performer, producer, studio, brand, person or entity, in such a way as to mislead other users of Jeeni as to your identity and the origin of your material.

Step 2: Your Video and Audio Rights
• All of your legal rights, or the copyright-owner’s legal rights remain protected.
• Jeeni has no claim on copyright or legal ownership of the video or audio files or accompanying details you upload.
• You can change, delete or replace your track content as much as you like, as often as you like.

Step 3: Uploading Tracks
• Type in the title of your track.
• Now select the 4 most appropriate channels where your track should be listed. You can leave this to later or change your mind at any time.
• Next, select the track you want to upload using the Browse button.
• You can also Browse and upload a thumbnail image to publicise your track, or simply let the system select one for you.
• When your file or files have uploaded, hit UPLOAD and wait.

Your track will appear in your Showcase, but only you can see it. It will be viewed and approved by a real live human being, then go live.

IMPORTANT: JEENI WILL PUBLICISE YOUR TRACK AUTOMATICALLY. You want to make extra sure that a whole new audience can find your work, so PLEASE give your fans and search engines like Google something to chew on. For any of your tracks, simply hit the Edit icon and get the following elements right.

• Title – the title of your track and the name of the performer(s).Summary – use key words and phrases to attract a new audience using smart searches. For example, production credits, instrumentation, contact and publicity details, the names of your inspirations and influences, greatest hits, awards, bios.
• Description – these are the words and phrases that will appear in the listings, and you can format them using the tools provided. Think of them like a publicity poster for your work.
• Categories – this is where you can select or change the 4 most appropriate categories of Jeeni Channels where your video appears. Your track is automatically included in the ALL CHANNELS category, but you can change this if you want.
• Tags – specifically for search engines like Google.
• Showcase – displays the name of the Showcase that your video will appear in.
• Hit the red button to Save Changes, and that’s it.

Step 4: Additional Tracks
• ARTISTS can upload up to 2 tracks to their Showcase.
• PROS can upload up to 10 tracks to their Showcase.
• A running total of your tracks is clearly displayed.
• You can delete, update, change or add new tracks at any time.
• If you run out of room for new tracks, delete one or more existing tracks.
• To remove a track, activate the delete icon to put it in the Trash.
• It will stay in the Trash so you can reload it later, or delete it permanently.
• To make room for new tracks, empty the Trash by rolling over the video thumbnail image and hitting the Bin icon.
• A dialogue box will appear asking you to confirm.

AUDIO/VIDEO BUTTONS
Below every audio/video track on Jeeni, there’s a range of very useful buttons.

VOTE – hit the Vote button to help push this track up the Charts.

ADD – add the artist/performer of this track to your personal list, and receive the latest news and special offers directly from them.

SHARE – share this track with friends and colleagues with one click, to send its link to them via email or your social media. You can also share from any mobile device, wherever you see this icon on your browser.

WATCH LATER – add this track to your personal Watch List so you can enjoy it any time you like.

VIEW SHOWCASE – go straight to the Showcase of the artist or performer of this track to find more tracks and discover more about them.

DONATE – show your appreciation by sending a donation direct to this artist or performer. It’s entirely up to the artist or performer if they want to take advantage of your enthusiasm and generosity, and Jeeni guarantees that whatever you decide they’ll receive 100% of your donation.

GIFT – Gift-a-Gig is another opt-in service that artists and performers can choose to take part in, and as ever they will receive 100% of everything agreed. Anyone can order customised productions from participating artists, including dedications, greetings, and bespoke tracks. Prices are agreed direct between the artist and the buyer, and Jeeni acts as a matchmaker to bring happiness to all involved.

MORE – reveal more tracks.

SCREEN SIZE – toggle between standard and full-screen track display.

PLAY/PAUSE – standard play/pause button with the length of time elapse shown in minutes and seconds.

MY WALLET – the value of what’s in your Jeeni Wallet is displayed in US dollars. You can exchange what’s in your wallet once you reach your goal to help pay for items in the Jeeni Shop, to donate to an artist, to support a charity, or to pay for Jeeni monthly subscriptions.

MY REWARDS – this is where you monitor and keep control of all your Jeeni rewards. You get rewarded for almost everything you do on Jeeni, which is what makes our service unique. The whole of the next chapter is devoted to these rewards.

MY ACCOUNT – here’s where you control all aspects of your relationship with Jeeni, including your user name, password, account details, billing address, payment methods and subscriptions.

MY PROFILE – go straight to your personal Profile page.

MY NEWSLETTER – opt-in to receive the regular Newsletter for news on Jeeni events, features and artists.

MY INVITES – this is where you invite others to join Jeeni, and get rewarded for your success.

• Jeeni Reward goals are US$5 for a Superfan, US$10 for an Artist, US$25 for a Pro.
• Rewards will be capped at the levels shown above, and can’t go any higher.
• You can roll over your Rewards until you achieve your goal.
• You can spend your Rewards at any time, once you’ve achieved 100% of your goal.
• Once you’ve spent your Rewards you can start over.

Your Target Audience

JEENI PRO MARKETING allows you to reach out to 3 sectors of your target audience:
1. Your existing fanbase, who are already part of your network.

Your Marketing Methods

There are two types of marketing methods.
1. email marketing
2. push-marketing

Email marketing only reaches your existing fanbase, but push-marketing reaches everyone who allows notifications on their mobile, laptop or desktop devices. Push notifications have a great advantage because users do not need to have their browser open on their device, if they have allowed notifications.
JEENI PRO MARKETING lets you use both methods.

Your Backlinks

A backlink is a link from somewhere on the web to a target somewhere else on the web. Think of a backlink as a sort of citation. Search engines love citations.

When you create a campaign with JEENI PRO MARKETING, you send an email to your fanbase and a push-notification to all website visitors and mobile users who allow notifications. Your campaign generates an automatic backlink to your Showcase to lead fans by the nose straight to your work. You also get a whole load of URLs (website page addresses) to use as backlinks on social networks.

JEENI PRO MARKETING backlinks are carefully created to be effective. They tie in to your campaign to track, trace and measure the number of people who respond to it.

A backlink that has been responded to is added to your campaign report and a reward is added to your account up to the maximum for your campaign allowance. After all, the more successful your campaign is for you, the more traffic we get on Jeeni and the better we like it. Everybody wins.

Some Patronising & Possibly Irritating Advice

Before releasing a JEENI PRO MARKETING campaign into the wild, it’s a really good idea to make sure of the following six things:
1. Your Profile and Showcase information is up to date.
2. Your images are the ones you want to display to the world.
3. Your audio or video tracks have been uploaded.
4. You have chosen the most suitable ready-made template to attract the masses.
5. You have set the best date and time to kick off your campaign to tie in with any other promotions you are doing.
6. You have set a suitable date and time to close your campaign so you don’t bore the pants off people.

Creating Your Campaign

Ready? OK, here we go. To create a campaign, follow these steps:

Step 1:
Login as a Jeeni PRO

Step 2:
Click on the Marketing option from your Profile page. You will be whisked off to your personal My Marketing page.

Step 3:
The campaign builder panel is towards the left of your screen. You can select NEW CAMPAIGN to start over, My Marketing to monitor the progress and results of your campaigns, or My Marketing Documents to access your resources. To start, hit the red button that says NEW CAMPAIGN. A panel of tools is revealed that says Create My Campaign, and it does exactly that.

Step 4:
Write the words

Hit the top icon to write the words you want to communicate for your new marketing campaign.

The Campaign Title is for your own use to identify your campaign and the reports that come with it, so give it a clear, unique title. Remember, you may well create dozens of marketing campaigns, so you’ll want to recognise each one for future reference.

The Campaign Subject is the all-important subject header you want the world to see, so make it clear, relevant, punchy, and something that encourages the world to open it and read it.

The white text panel is where you write your Campaign body text. This is the message you want to communicate to your audience, excite them and get them involved. There’s a standard set of formatting tools to make it look good, including any links you want to include.

Step 5:
Add the images

This tab is where you set an individual thumbnail icon and larger marketing banner image. They are used in the push-notifications as well as your email campaign.

The Icon will be displayed alone on desktop web-push notifications, and both the Icon and Banner will be used on mobile push notifications, such as hand-held devices. Your Banner can also be used as part of the email message, depending on the email template you select. This is explained a little later.

If you don’t select any images at all during this step, then your Jeeni profile “gravatar” icon and showcase/profile banner will be used automatically. If your marketing banner is the same as your showcase banner, then only your showcase banner will be used.

Step 6:
Choose your email template

This tab saves you a huge amount of work. There’s a load of ready-made templates for your email marketing campaigns. The purpose of these ready-mades is that they can be used immediately, without any programming skills or technical knowledge. Just select the one that suits you best and JEENI PRO MARKETING will deliver your entire campaign ready-made.

Templates include simple layouts and more complex ones, and they feature a mixture of elements, placings and priorities.

The elements can include your campaign title, dates, showcase image, marketing banner, campaign message, latest videos, one or more newsfeeds and the key to world peace and happiness.

Step 7:
Target your audience

This tab allows you to select where in the world you want your push marketing campaigns to appear.
For example you may want to target North American audiences in one campaign and Europeans in another parallel campaign, and compare how they respond.

Similarly you may want to run a separate campaign in Spanish aimed at South America, or include the whole world apart from Oceania under because you once had an unhappy experience playing cricket in Australia. Please note that we include Antarctica, because we believe penguins deserve a break.

If you do not make any selection at all, then your marketing campaign will be sent to every location on the planet. Including the penguins.

Step 8:
Schedule your campaign

This tab allows you to schedule a start date and exact start time for the campaign, as well as a closing date and time for the campaign. If you leave this blank, then the send date will be scheduled for the next immediate slot available.

Jeeni is set up to launch the queue of data for marketing campaigns in carefully controlled batches to avoid bottlenecks in our services, so there may be a slight delay before your campaign gets squirted into the pipeline of hope. This only relates to when your push-message campaigns get sent out, and currently does not affect email communications which will normally be delivered immediately.

Step 9:
Send and launch your campaign

When you are satisfied that your new marketing campaign is ready to go, simply hit the red button that says Send Push Notification and it will be launched.

Please remember, once your campaign is sent there is no way to unsend it, so make sure you are completely happy with everything before you release it!

My Marketing Reports

The My Marketing button sits below the NEW CAMPAIGN button on your screen, and this is where you reveal the ongoing results of the marketing campaigns that you have sent out. It also displays some really useful links to click and copy for posting on your own social networks. We’ll get to them a little later.

Click on My Marketing to reveal the data, stats and results for your marketing campaigns. If you have launched several campaigns then the most recent campaign is displayed with a darker background.

At the top of each campaign marketing report you will see:
• the Campaign Title for your own use
• the Subject of the campaign that your audience sees
• a Campaign Code that relates to Google Analytics
• the Start and End dates of your campaign
• your Campaign Status, shown in green.

Your Campaign Status can display one of the following messages:
• Campaign creation in progress – copying subscriptions = your campaign is still being created
• New campaign = your new campaign is ready to send
• Pending = your campaign is waiting in the queue to be sent
• In progress = campaign sending is in progress
• Sent = your campaign has been sent
• Cancelled by user = you decided to cancel your campaign before it had time to be sent
• Has Ended = the campaign expiry date/time has passed and your campaign has ended
• No active recipients = you don’t have any active fans at the moment
• Error = there was a problem when the campaign was sent out
• Test campaign sent = this is for our techies if they need to test your account
• Campaign awaiting results of A/B testing = this is also one for our techies
• Archived = another one for the Jeeni nerds to keep a record

Below your Campaign Status is where your Push Stats appear, with values in numbers and graphics, as follows:
• the number of targets Sent to
• the number safely Delivered
• the number that have been Clicked On to view
• the number that Failed to be delivered

Harnessing your social networks.

A very effective way of growing your fanbase and attracting more people to your Jeeni Showcase is to harness your existing and future social networks.

JEENI PRO MARKETING does this automatically for you, without the bother of having to duplicate everything time after time.

At the bottom of your report panel are your Other Hits. These show the Social Network Stats for your campaign, and this is a real bonus service from JEENI PRO MARKETING.

For example, if you have an existing Twitter account, Facebook account and your own fan database of email addresses, then hit the relevant social network icon to automatically generate a link code for each one.

Click on one of the social media icons to copy the URL (web page address) of your campaign, and paste it in to your relevant social media post. Then send out the post and anyone who clicks on the link will land on your JEENI PRO MARKETING campaign.

The number of successful hits you achieve for your campaign via each social network is displayed at the bottom of your marketing report panel, like the one above.

At time of writing, this works with the following social media platforms, but by the time you read this we may well have added more.

As an additional service for Jeeni PRO members, you will automatically receive a regular email containing your latest marketing report and stats.

My Marketing Documents

My Marketing Documents is the lower button of your Marketing group, and is where the library of detailed marketing resources and guides sit. It will be updated and added to as Jeeni evolves.

Newsfeeds

Jeeni marketing uses a multi-doodah approach when it comes to connecting with your existing audience and growing your fan-base. This is because if one strategy doesn’t work too well, then chances are that an alternative one will.

As well as the automated marketing suite that Jeeni offers, there is a built-in newsfeed service. When any Jeeni user opts-in to follow you, they are instantly added to your communications list and will receive updates from your newsfeed as well as your email campaigns.

Exploiting newsfeeds is dealt with in the next section.

Marketing Campaign Checklist

Please don’t launch a marketing campaign until you have updated your showcase with the relevant audio/video tracks and your latest information. Here’s a campaign checklist to remind yourself of what needs to be done before you hit that big red button.

• I have an email where I can be reached
• I have added my social media links to my profile
• I have uploaded an image for my thumbnail or logo
• I have uploaded a banner image
• I have written a description about what it is I am trying to market
• I have uploaded at least three audio/video tracks
• I have written at least three newsfeeds

And before you say that you only want to promote one audio/video and one newsfeed, here’s what we recommend.

By all means promote your latest release as a stand-alone if that’s what you insist, but you will do far better to exploit the triple approach of:
1. a short trailer audio/video leading to your full offering
2. a call-to-action like a special offer or exclusive
3. an overview or showreel of your work

Remember, many fans may not be aware of the range of your work, and they may not even like what you are currently marketing, but they could absolutely love something else in your range.

The same goes for newsfeeds, where we recommend a similar triple approach of:
1. a teaser leading to your latest offering
2. a call-to-action like a special offer or exclusive
3. an overview about your work

JEENI NEWSFEEDS are for Jeeni Artists and Jeeni Pros. They are used to force-feed your announcements, offers, greetings, prayers and propaganda to the masses.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It’s a technical thingy that spews out information which gets automatically updated and gobbled up by computers and phones. Your information is fetched by a user’s RSS feed reader in an easy to read format. RSS is really cool, and it has a universal icon wherever it’s available.

You will need to create your own RSS link, using any existing RSS system or service that you have, and copy it in to your Profile.

There are two types of newsfeeds available on Jeeni, a public RSS feed and a personal RSS feed.

Your Public RSS Feed
This is for you to contact Jeeni users on an individual basis and keep them up to date with your latest news and events. It doesn’t matter if they are a logged-in user, a registered Jeeni subscriber or just a casual visitor, when they copy your feed to an app or bookmark it in their browser, they’ll receive your newsfeeds.

This means that as a Jeeni Artist or Pro, you can extend your reach much further than to fans who are simply following you, and this is vital method of expanding and growing your audience outside your existing network.

Your Public RSS link is displayed as an orange icon on your public profile. It’s also right there in your showcase, in the row of any other social links you have chosen to display.

Your Personal RSS Feed
Personal Newsfeeds are selected by any Jeeni subscriber to follow and keep up to date with news from any number of Jeeni artists and pros. In other words, it’s a private opt-in to receive communications.

The My Artists tab in the MY JEENI menu takes you to all the artists you have elected to follow.

Click on the icon after “My Artists I want to send me updates and offers”
and they will all be listed.

Every time an artist you have chosen to follow updates their feed you will get a notification of their update. Likewise, anybody who has elected to follow you will get your update from your own newsfeed as soon as you release it.

You’re on your own as far as what you include in your Newsfeed updates, of course, and Jeeni can take no responsibility for what you post. All we can hope is that it’s honest, legal and decent.

NO SCAMS
The music industry has been plagued by profiteers, charlatans and rip-off merchants. Jeeni is completely different. Our promise is to to treat our listening audience and our creative talent ethically, fairly, honestly and with respect.

NO ADVERTS
On Jeeni your listening and viewing pleasure will never be ruined by jingles or adverts, you won’t be force-fed anything you don’t want to see or hear, and your choices will never be manipulated by outside influences and unwanted pressures.

NO FAKES
Jeeni content is for original creative work, so no covers please. What you see is what you get. Our charts cannot be bought or influenced. They are based on individual positive votes, and they are truly democratic.

NO RIP-OFFS
We do not insult our artists with false promises or pitiful royalty payments that add up to next to nothing. 100% of Jeeni artist merchandising profits go direct to our artists. If your work is used in productions because of Jeeni, that’s great, you keep 100% of everything due to you from soundtracks, jingles, titles, incidental music, whatever. And profits on streamed concerts and masterclasses are shared with our celebrity artists, mentors and Award Winners.

NO LOOKING AWAY
Jeeni supports charitable projects, including Arms Around The Child, providing safe loving homes and support for orphaned children, vulnerable children and those at risk of exploitation.

NO HYPOCRISY
We will not accept partnerships or funding from any organisation or individual who we know to be involved with armaments, harming the environment, political, religious or unethical organisations. We positively seek out corporate relationships with those who make a positive contribution to the wellbeing of people and the environment.

NO EXPLOITATION
We pledge to use available funds to create local jobs, new opportunities and genuine resources. We will not exploit students, interns or volunteers, but treat them as valued members of Team Jeeni and reward them to the best of our ability.

NO TAX DODGING
Unlike certain other entertainment platforms and content providers, we pledge to pay all our due taxes in full, because we choose to make a positive contribution to the health, welfare and education of the society in which we live.

• outline your legal rights on Jeeni
• explain the rights you give to us when you use Jeeni
• describe the rules you need to follow when you use Jeeni
• include a neat class-action waiver and agreement about resolving any disputes that may arise between us, as if.

So, please read through these Terms and Conditions carefully, and read our Jeeni Privacy Policy too. You won’t regret it.

AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By clicking the agreement check-box and submitting your application to join Jeeni, you are declaring that you agree to all this stuff, and that you are old enough to have a credit card or operate an online payment account in whatever country you live. We’re based in the United Kingdom where the age to do that is 18. If you’re under-age, that’s fine, and by clicking the agreement checkbox your parent or guardian agrees to take legal responsibility for your involvement with Jeeni. As for viewing Jeeni content, you need to be aged over 13 and ready to enjoy yourself. Also, whoever you are, you need to have the power to enter a binding contract with us and not be barred from doing so under any applicable laws.

These Terms and Conditions may change from time to time, and it’s up to you to review them right here on this page. All the time you are a signed-up member of Jeeni, you acknowledge that you have read and understand what’s on this page, and you agree to be bound by it. If you don’t agree with it, or can’t comply with it, then go get your thrills somewhere else.
Nobody can completely predict the future, and we may make changes to your Jeeni offering for really good reasons, like adding new functions or features to our service, embracing the latest science and technology, beefing up our security, and of course for legal or regulatory reasons. We may also change membership details, offers, deals, charges and other important stuff. When we make material changes like that, we’ll let you know as best we can, either by displaying a notice in your face, or seeking your agreement within Jeeni itself, or by sending you an email. In some cases, we’ll notify you in advance, and your continued use of Jeeni after the changes have been made mean you accept the changes. If you don’t want to continue using Jeeni for any reason, that’s absolutely fine by us. If you received a trial, or a freebie, or a paid subscription through a third party, we haven’t got the power or inclination to get involved, and you must cancel the applicable membership through that third party.

YOU
So, you or your account-holder are over the legal age, and legally valid. If you join Jeeni on behalf of a company, organization, entity, or brand, then all these terms apply to both you as an individual and/or that company, organization, entity, or brand. Your password protects your user account, and you are solely responsible for keeping your password confidential and secure. You understand that you are responsible for all use of your username and password on Jeeni. If your username or password is lost or stolen, or if you believe there has been unauthorised access to your account by a third party, you must change your password as soon as possible.

RIPPING OFF JEENI WEBSITES, APPS & SOCIAL MEDIA
OK, we know you’re going to do it anyway, so we may as well give you permission to view, link to, link from, download, copy, print and generally mess around with the content of Jeeni websites, apps and social media, as long as the content is not modified or altered in any way. But you may not claim it as your own. And you may not use any Jeeni trademark, logo, or proprietary stuff like images, text, page layout, forms or any bits of code unless you get our consent first. You do not acquire any ownership rights to any Jeeni online content, unless you uploaded this content yourself and unless it is your legal copyright. Any unauthorized use of Jeeni stuff may end your Jeeni membership, and you may lose any paid services or subscriptions without refund.

OUR SERVICE
The Jeeni service and content are the property of Jeeni or our licensors. We grant you limited, non-exclusive access to make use of the Jeeni service, and this access shall remain in effect until and unless you leave us or we leave you. Jeeni software applications and the Jeeni platform are not sold or transferred to you, and Jeeni and its licensors retain ownership of all copies of Jeeni applications and the Jeeni platform after installation on your personal computers, mobile handsets, tablets, wearable devices, speakers, and any other devices whether they exist now or in the future, anywhere in the solar system. Or other solar systems.

PAYMENT
This is the bit where we talk about paying for our service. Payment is really straightforward, you choose the sort of Jeeni membership you want, and pay for it. Simple as that. If you’re a Superfan, then you don’t pay, but you do need to give us a few contact details so we can wheedle and bribe you whenever we feel like it. If you’re an Artist or a Pro, your membership will be renewed at the end of your billing period, either monthly or for a longer agreed period.
The price for paid Jeeni subscriptions may go up or down from time to time, and of course we’ll tell you about price changes advance. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next subscription period following the date of when we tell you about it. Subject to applicable law, you accept the new price by continuing to use the Jeeni service after the price change takes effect. Obviously, you can reject the change by unsubscribing from Jeeni at any time before the price change goes into effect.

CANCELLATION
Users of paid Jeeni services can cancel their membership, participation, and subscriptions at any time, for any reason. No hassle, no quibble, no ifs, no buts. The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period, and you will be downgraded to a Free Jeeni. We’ll store your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, and then we’ll delete your account, including your profile, showcase, videos, rewards, fan databases, everything.

REFUNDS
Jeeni can not offer refunds on subscriptions or fees. Someone’s got to pay for all this.

CONTENT YOU CAN UPLOAD
You can upload text, images, video files, audio files, form selections that are either your own copyright, or that you have permission from the copyright-holder. You can change this content as much as you like, as often as you like.
Audios and videos should be in the correct format, with a maximum file size of 50MB. Subscribers in the Artist category can upload up to 2 tracks to their Showcase, and subscribers in the Pro category can upload up to 10 tracks to their Showcase, provided there is a fair use of original material by the subscriber only, in the opinion of Jeeni.

CONTENT YOU CANNOT UPLOAD
You cannot submit or upload any content to Jeeni that is obscene, illegal, threatening, defamatory, racist, sexist, phobic or otherwise offensive. You cannot submit or upload any content to Jeeni that invades privacy or infringes the intellectual property of any other person, group or organisation. You cannot submit or upload any content to Jeeni that contains software viruses, mass mailings, spam, fake news or upsetting images. You cannot impersonate any other artist, performer, producer, studio, brand, person or entity, in such a way as to mislead other users of Jeeni as to your identity and the origin of your material. You cannot use a false email address or impersonate any of the above to contact third parties via Jeeni.

CONTENT AND USAGE RIGHTS
You grant Jeeni the right to use the processor, bandwidth, and storage hardware on your devices in order to facilitate the operation of our service and to provide other information to you from us, our partners and our members.
By submitting and uploading content, you grant Jeeni a non-exclusive, world-wide, royalty-free, full license to reproduce, use, modify, publish, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content using any Jeeni media. By submitting and uploading content, you warrant and covenant that you own all rights to or have permission to use the content that you submit, and that use of the content will not cause injury to any person or entity. You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Jeeni, and its owners, management, employees and agents from and against any action, claim, demand, dispute, or liability, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising from or relating to any allegation that your content infringes a third person’s copyright, trademark or proprietary or intellectual property right, or misappropriates a third person’s trade secrets. You further agree that Jeeni shall have the right to defend ourselves against any such claim through counsel of our own choosing.

Jeeni may, but has no obligation to, monitor, review, or edit your content. In all cases, Jeeni reserves the right to remove or disable access to your content for any or no reason, including your content that, in Jeeni’s sole discretion, violates these terms and conditions. Jeeni may take action without prior notification to you or any third party. Removal or disabling of access to your content will be at our sole discretion, and we do not promise to remove or disable access to any specific content.

You are solely responsible for all the content that you post on Jeeni. Jeeni is not responsible for any of your content nor does it endorse any opinion contained in any of your content. You agree that if anyone brings a claim against Jeeni related to any content that you post, then to the extent permissible under local law, you will indemnify and hold Jeeni harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind.
If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions to Jeeni in connection with the Jeeni service or content, you acknowledge that this is not confidential and you authorise Jeeni to use this without restriction and without payment to you, although you may be rewarded for your activities on Jeeni under our specific Rewards system.

REPORTING AND REPORTED ABUSE
You may report any abuse that you believe is taking place concerning content uploaded to Jeeni by third-parties, using the Report This button underneath every audio or video, and your report will be investigated and acted on if substantiated. If you report abuse maliciously, and your report is found to be false, we reserve the right to cancel your membership of Jeeni without notice. Similarly we will investigate any reports of abuse made against content you submit and upload. If we consider that any such content breaks any of the conditions set out above, we reserve the right to remove your content without any explanation, any discussion or any refund of paid content or services you may have subscribed to.

THIRD-PARTY AGREEMENTS AND DISPUTES
The Jeeni platform and service may be integrated and interact with third-party applications, code, websites, services, devices and whatnot to make our Jeeni service available to you. These may have their own terms and conditions of use and privacy policies, and your use of them will be governed by and subject to their own terms and conditions and privacy policies. You understand and agree that Jeeni does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for the behaviour, features, or content of any third-party stuff or for any transaction you may enter into with their provider, nor does Jeeni warrant the compatibility or continuing compatibility of any third-party stuff with our service.

We will not become involved in any agreements or disputes between artists, subscribers, members, affiliates, or any other third-party contributing to Jeeni, and we take no responsibility for failure by third-parties to perform, deliver, supply or adhere to any agreements made by them. Similarly, we can take no responsibility for the content of any third-party content or service that Jeeni links to, or that subscribers and members link to via Jeeni. You specifically agree that Jeeni is not responsible for any content, associated links, resources, or services associated with any third-party. You further agree that Jeeni will not be liable for any loss or damage of any sort associated with your use of third-party content.

Similarly, Jeeni will not become involved in any agreements, promises, claims, fulfilments or discussions made between Artists or Pros and their fans, their audiences or members of the public. If Jeeni Artists and Pros solicit or receive funds or donations from any third party, that’s great, but Jeeni will not become involved or take any responsibility for such activities.

DISCLAIMER
All content, services, products, software and usages on this platform or associated with Jeeni are provided as is, and without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, those of fitness for purpose, non-infringement and merchantability. Jeeni does not warrant that the descriptions and content concerning artists, performers, products and services offered will necessarily meet your requirements, and neither can we guarantee that content uploaded by members, subscribers or anyone else is necessarily honest, truthful, legal and decent. Think of us as match-makers, where we do our best to make the best introductions we can, but we cannot possibly guarantee a blissful relationship. Jeeni, our suppliers, associates and personnel will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental or punitive damages, in any circumstances. Also, while we will always try to provide our services and access to Jeeni to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee that such services and access will be available for 100% of the time for any reason, including, but not limited to service outages, accident, force majeure or negligence. Neither Jeeni nor its owners, shareholders or investors will be held liable for any costs or damages including, but not limited to, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages (including, without limitation, lost profits) related to these Terms and Conditions or resulting from your use or inability to use Jeeni, arising from any cause whatsoever, even if Jeeni has been notified of the possibility of such damages.

INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Jeeni and our owners, directors, managers, employees and agents from and against any action, claim, demand, dispute, or liability, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising from or relating to your breach of these Terms and Conditions, your negligence or deliberate misconduct, or any allegation that the content infringes a third person’s copyright, trademark or proprietary or intellectual property right, or misappropriates a third person’s trade secrets.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. You agree that any legal action or proceeding under or with respect to these Terms and Conditions will be brought in the United Kingdom, and you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such courts. You also agree not to bring any legal action or proceeding under or with respect to these Terms and Conditions in any other territory.

LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS
Subscribers, members and users of Jeeni are responsible for investigating and adhering to all local laws and regulations including, but not limited to, copyright, advertising, permits, licenses, taxes, and safety compliance.

Where permitted under the applicable law, you and Jeeni agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or Jeeni’s individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative action. Unless both you and Jeeni agrees, no arbitrator or judge may consolidate more than one person’s claims or otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

FORCE MAJEURE
Neither Jeeni nor any party using this website shall be in default by reason of any failure or delay in the performance of any obligation under these Terms and Conditions, where such failure or delay arises out of any cause beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of Jeeni or such party.

BINDING EFFECT
These Terms and Conditions shall be binding upon, and inure to the benefit of Jeeni and its successors, assigns, heirs, legal representatives, executors, and administrators.

OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Jeeni is owned and managed by the founding directors Mel Croucher and Dr Shena Mitchell.
Jeeni is a limited company, registered in the United Kingdom.
Jeeni is fully protected by international registered Trademarks.
