About me

Atmospheric, accessible yet intricate and genre-fluid music producer Bite The Boxer started releasing music on the blossoming synthwave scene in 2020 but has since made an impact with songs that are stylistically closer to dream pop, trip-hop and ambient lo-fi. Taking inspiration from his background in a wealth of previous music project which range from acoustic songwriter to indie rock and metal, Bite The Boxer (aka Matt Park) has a sound that has encapsulated not just the casual listener but also the music press and local, national and international radio stations across the world. Back catalogue highlights include debut album The 86 Sound (synthwave), Half Awake in the Half Light EP (cinematic ambient), A Stream Becomes a River EP (lofi pop) and latest single Forgotten (triphop/dream pop).
