Steve Dalachinsky - read new works
Poet/collagist STEVE DALACHINSKY was born in Brooklyn after the last big war and has managed to survive lots of little wars. His book The Final Nite (Ugly Duckling Presse) won the PEN Oakland National Book Award. His most recent books are Fools Gold (2014 feral press), a superintendent’s eyes (revised and expanded 2013/14 – unbearable/autonomedia) and flying home, a collaboration with German visual artist Sig Bang Schmidt (Paris Lit Up Press 2015).
Farid - Patience
Farid - PatienceFarid made the first steps of his musical journey right after he learned how to stand up on his feet and isn’t ever planning to stop. As a child, he was greatly influenced by the heavy pop & r’n’b music wave that characterised the 90s, identifying strongly with Michael Jackson who, along with Justin Timberlake, have remained his strongest inspirations up to this day and have motivated him to never give up and pursue his dream of a stage career. ‘Invitation to Waltz’ from the piano composition album ‘First Love’ by Ariana May. The album of piano compositions: ‘First Love’, charts an emotional voyage through the depths of the heart. The album possesses a combination of nostalgic, poignant and optimistic pieces that each reflect different stages of a relationship and, on a deeper level, of our mercurial emotions as we experience the elasticity and unpredictability of life. Ariana May is a British singer-songwriter whose classical training in piano and singing from an early age has culminated in a deep love of composing and performing. ‘First Love’ album released 8 February 2022.
