One of Chany's biggest achievement was performing along side Boy George at the Dorchester Hotel for the Amy Winehouse Ball.

The UP Youth Choir was established with the aim of affording talented teenagers and high school students the opportunity to proficiently perform locally and abroad.The choir consists of 90 choristers aged 14 - 19 from the greater Tshwane and represents 34 different high schools. The choir’s repertoire is an exciting assortment of South African and International music which incorporates elements of traditional music, jazz, gospel and folk music. The UP Youth Choir is recognized worldwide for its award-winning performances and spectacular artistry.
