Young Drummer of the Year - Ebenezer Sendey
Ebenezer Sendey's winning performance at the Final of the Young Drummer of the Year Event held in the UK. All entrants must be under 16 and send in a video of themselves playing. A shortlist of 40 is decided, then the top 10 are chosen to come and play in front of a panel of professional players and music industry heavyweights. Not only do they perform a solo, an accompaniment to some prerecorded music, and a 'live' piece with 2 other musicians (a piece of music that they only heard the morning of the event); but they are also have an informal chat with the judges about music and themselves. The event, this year, is kindly sponsored by PDP Drums, Meinl Cymbals, GEWA Bags & Cases & Gibraltar Hardware. Filmed at Artrix Bromsgrove UK
Blood in the Water, by Black Sheets Of Rain
Taking their musical cues from classic acts like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Kings X, Thin Lizzy, Accept, Metallica, Iron Maiden, UFO, Anthrax and Dio, Black Sheets Of Rain’s focus is on writing memorable songs delivered with relentless energy. Their sound distils influences from across the metal spectrum, from doom to thrash, into a hard-hitting contemporary sound. Pounding drums, rumbling bass, biting guitars and gritty vocals underpin the band’s heavy, melodic material.A power trio in the vintage mould, the band feature David Nuttall (Drums/Vocals, ex Toy Dolls), Matt Lambourne (Bass / Vocals, ex Solomon Groove) and Rich Davenport (Guitar/Lead Vocals, ex See Red, Atomkraft). Songs from their forthcoming debut EP, have already met with an enthusiastic reception at live shows supporting established UK Metal bands Eliminator, Seven Sisters and Conjuring Fate.

'Wasted' by Lennox Campbell AKA Biggz Manifest.‘Wasted’ is 3/3 remixes that Lennox Campbell aka Biggz Manifest has produced in collaboration with India Wasted Standard Control. This version of the remix features undercurrents of harmonic instruments paired with the main accompaniments to produce a balance of soft and hard. Lennox Campbell AKA Manifest Productions is a Song Writer, Composer, Engineer and Composer from South East London. For the last 30 years he has been in the music industry, creating all kinds of genres, mainly a mix of Jazz, Soul, Reggae and Pop. His label, 'Ghetto Born But Raised' currently holds 18 tracks, all of which are available on Jeeni.His influences are what he grew up listening to from the 70's to the early 90's, harboring lyrics on topics that bother him and his friend/singer J Wills. This is mainly the voice of struggle, injustice and corruption. Their groove is a true fusion of life growing up in England.
