Filmed on the south coast and directed by Elliot Arndt & Laura Little, the video takes inspiration from an old story surrounding “the most haunted place in the UK” an old building in Devon, now a pub, which contained a staircase that had been a constant source of misfortune.In an attempt to banish the curse, the owners held a pagan burial for the staircase on top of a hill. The pair decided to adapt this mystical story for Flamingods Director Elliot Arndt describes the video; “As soon as I heard the track I had this feeling of a large group of friends & freaks together creating a magical and spiritual scene. hi, after being busy with publisher work i finally managed to get some new solo stuff done, this time its a melodic asian themed track which is supposed to be beautiful and majestic with a soaring melody but also epic and pompous with its thunderous tribal taiko drums and catchy piano rhytms. i wanted a theme that depicts a strong, honorable female warrior, i do hope you enjoy as this took quite some days to get sound like i wanted, esp. the percussion
