XVIV - Original Music For Brass by Hugh Davies
My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close! African Chant - Garrett Jones
All of these takes were done with me holding the microphone like a dynamic junk stage mic... it was late and I didn't think I'd make a whole project but decided to go for it. Definitely rough, a good bit of reverb and effects added on the tracks to beef up the sound, but absolutely no pitch correction at all.
