The Dream Chasers Collective from The Movement Initiative winning at the International Dance Organisation World Championships in Germany 2019.The Movement Initiative is a home to world champion hip hop teams - Young Dream Chasers and Dream Chasers Collective and are based in Southsea. Award winning Charitable company. The advancement of the art of dance through education, performance and provision of facilities. Encouraging and empowering young people across the south coast.The Movement Initiative have successfully won various dance competitions around Europe and are now World Champions in the International Dance Organisation. The charity is run by Gareth Smith who set up the school to keep children off the streets and make sure they have access to opportunities for dance classes as well as great health benefits. hi, after being busy with publisher work i finally managed to get some new solo stuff done, this time its a melodic asian themed track which is supposed to be beautiful and majestic with a soaring melody but also epic and pompous with its thunderous tribal taiko drums and catchy piano rhytms. i wanted a theme that depicts a strong, honorable female warrior, i do hope you enjoy as this took quite some days to get sound like i wanted, esp. the percussion
Templar - Choreo and Freestyle - Salsa and Break Dance to Afrobeats!
Templar Animated is a hip-hop dancer and break dancer as well as a freestyle teacher. He is based in Portsmouth, Southsea where he holds beginner freestyle sessions for adults over 18 years. He says that his freestyle classes help people to find the rhythm in the music as well as learn moves to create their own unique style. He also taught some online classes over the lockdown period at the start of 2021 which included styles such as popping, breaking, afro and even salsa! Templar has many friends who also dance and they create videos together to showcase their talent. The group locate around Southsea to film their content which can sometimes be choreography, freestyle or just grooving for fun. Before lockdown, he would often compete at battles or spectate and has said he learnt a lot from that experience. Templar took part in the recent Global Bandstand event in Portsmouth and took part in multiple classes where he found other dancers to hopefully collaborate with in the future.
