Inspired by Ysaye, Paganini, and B.B. King, I'm happy to say that "Motion" has been performed in the most random venues ranging from Lincoln Center in NYC to Ruta Maya's Coffee in Austin, TX. As I always say, music should have no barriers and I'm so grateful that audiences of all kinds have supported my music in grand concert halls to small, intimate bars and coffee houses. African Chant - Garrett Jones
All of these takes were done with me holding the microphone like a dynamic junk stage mic... it was late and I didn't think I'd make a whole project but decided to go for it. Definitely rough, a good bit of reverb and effects added on the tracks to beef up the sound, but absolutely no pitch correction at all.
