Hourglass achtungdanThanks for dropping by! I am an aspiring guitarist and songwriter. I have been learning to play on Rocksmith 2014 for just over three years and recently took the leap into writing my own songs. I am delighted and a little nervous about presenting the first song I have written, performed and produced. I am learning all the time but I realise without feedback there is only so far an aspiring artist can go. So I have decided to take action and post my work. Leaving It All Behind - James Hawken
Do you ever feel like you've had enough? You need to make changes in your life? I felt like this and as usual, sat at the piano. I used the instrument to 'reset' my frame of mind, as a bridge from one life experience to another. The result is an expressive, dynamic piece full of changes of pace and touch. The overall effect instilling an air of calm and closing of a chapter. It's mood is also positive and conveys a feeling of optimism for the future.
