Hourglass achtungdanThanks for dropping by! I am an aspiring guitarist and songwriter. I have been learning to play on Rocksmith 2014 for just over three years and recently took the leap into writing my own songs. I am delighted and a little nervous about presenting the first song I have written, performed and produced. I am learning all the time but I realise without feedback there is only so far an aspiring artist can go. So I have decided to take action and post my work. I put all my energy into this video. Pushing my limits.. I called the video "Tiger shot " which refers to the character Kojiro Hyuga in Captain Tsubasa. Tiger shot is the name of his most powerful pulls. Since I was little I love this manga and this character is a great inspiration and motivation. Go to see if you don't know him.. The Wings of a Butterfly - James Hawken
Out of the blue an ol' mucker Toby Banks (Mumbo) posted something very dear to me on social media. In our conversation Tobe mentioned that he performs a song of mine that I had forgotten I wrote called 'The Wings of a Butterfly'. Tobe had a recording of him singing it from 30 years ago. He sang it beautifully. I 'grabbed' his vocals and did this!
