Young Drummer of the Year - Ebenezer Sendey
Ebenezer Sendey's winning performance at the Final of the Young Drummer of the Year Event held in the UK. All entrants must be under 16 and send in a video of themselves playing. A shortlist of 40 is decided, then the top 10 are chosen to come and play in front of a panel of professional players and music industry heavyweights. Not only do they perform a solo, an accompaniment to some prerecorded music, and a 'live' piece with 2 other musicians (a piece of music that they only heard the morning of the event); but they are also have an informal chat with the judges about music and themselves. Fran Parma - Ella Mai Choreography
Francessca was born in the UK and has trained in London, New York and LA. She has been teaching hip hop for over 8 years in all three areas and is really passionate about helping people to expand their knowledge in dance and become the best dancer they can be. Her strongest styles of dance are Hip Hop and House which are he go-to styles to choreograph and teach. Francessca has experience in the foundations of Hip Hop and thinks that it is important to pass that experience onto new dancers. She frequently posts on her Instagram short clips of her dancing and rehearsing as well as concept videos of herself and her friends. Over her years of being a dancer, she has achieved choreographing for various music videos, a commercial for Bell outside the Box, battling in Vancouver Street Dance Festival and choreographing pieces for Vancouver International Dance Festival and Main Event.
