This song was requested by one of my oldest friends, Marie, and is one of my own songs that I put on an album I released in 2005. She-Oak Affair - Kissing The Flint
Written by Leah Chynoweth-Tidy for her debut Kissing The Flint EP 'Unconditionality' released in 2019, this upbeat track reminds us that life far too often gets manic and we need to remember to take the time to slow down or stop and smell the roses. Being the introduction to the project, Profiiit takes this opportunity to display his rapping skills in full effect after an impactful and lengthy introduction of synths and layered singing.Profiiit is a groundbreaking and restless force in the East Coast US underground rap scene. His style cannot be simply defined in terms of genres due to his insatiable need to constantly move and push his sound to new levels, however influences include J. Cole, Kanye West, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar and the late XXXTENTACION. Something Profiiit has in common with all of these inspirations is a long endeavour for greatness.
