First Day of Spring is the first release of the year to come from, exciting upcoming Folk Artist, Megan Linford. Feeling a strong connection with the Earth and it's movement through the seasons, Megan's writing depicts the journey through the harsh winter months into the breathe of the Spring, how this parallels with a change that came in Megans own life after feeling she was set free from a period in a difficult relationship. The album tells the journey through the seasons and the cold, the loss, the love, the happiness and the doubt along the way.Megan worked with a group of talented musicians and producers on this project. A great tune co-written and produced by myself with the very talented Bridget Sweeny. Bridget recently moved to Ireland from New York and I was fortunate enough to gain her as my neighbour. This is hopefully the first of many collaborations. I recently co-wrote and produced a fantastic tune with the incredibly talented Bridget Sweeny. She just moved to Ireland from New York, and I’m fortunate to have her as my neighbor. I hope this is the first of many collaborations we have together.
