Marigold from Flamingods fourth studio album ‘Levitation’ on Moshi Moshi Records: http://smarturl.it/LevitationDirected by Barbu.TV, Marigold was shot on a trip to Oman which involved hazardous border crossings, Omani motorbike riders and the band creating their own ornate jackets. Shooting the video in and around the remote city of Nizwa you’re taken on a vibrant journey, featuring innovative camerawork and hypnotic animation. “We had heard about this gang of motorbike riding youths through our friend and knew immediately that we wanted to make a music video with them. They live in a remote city in Oman called Nizwa and have had these vintage bikes passed down from generation to generation. Steve Dalachinsky is a native New Yorker, poet, critic, and artist, Dalachinsky was active in the Avant-Garde and Free Jazz movements. He authored multiple collections of poetry, including Where Night and Day Become One: The French Poems (Great Weather for Media, LLC, 2018) and The Final Nite & Other Poems: The Complete Notes from a Charles Gayle Notebook 1987-2006 (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2006), winner of the PEN Oakland/Josephine Miles Book Award.
