'If You Need a Friend' by Lennox Campbell AKA Biggz Manifest‘If You Need a Friend’ is a mellow song that gives the listener a feeling of comfort. It describes the importance of having friends around whenever we are feeling down and how they can support us through difficult times, offering a shoulder to lean on. The message tells us how friends are like family and although we all go through bumps in our relationships, we will always be there for one another. Lennox Campbell AKA Manifest Productions is a Song Writer, Composer, Engineer and Composer from South East London. For the last 30 years he has been in the music industry, creating all kinds of genres, mainly a mix of Jazz, Soul, Reggae and Pop. His label, 'Ghetto Born But Raised' currently holds 18 tracks, all of which are available on Jeeni.His influences are what he grew up listening to from the 70's to the early 90's, harboring lyrics on topics that bother him and his friend/singer J Wills. This is mainly the voice of struggle, injustice and corruption. Their groove is a true fusion of life growing up in England.
Young Drummer of the Year - Ebenezer Sendey
Ebenezer Sendey's winning performance at the Final of the Young Drummer of the Year Event held in the UK. All entrants must be under 16 and send in a video of themselves playing. A shortlist of 40 is decided, then the top 10 are chosen to come and play in front of a panel of professional players and music industry heavyweights. Not only do they perform a solo, an accompaniment to some prerecorded music, and a 'live' piece with 2 other musicians (a piece of music that they only heard the morning of the event); but they are also have an informal chat with the judges about music and themselves. The event, this year, is kindly sponsored by PDP Drums, Meinl Cymbals, GEWA Bags & Cases & Gibraltar Hardware. Filmed at Artrix Bromsgrove UK
