Young Drummer of the Year 2020 - Ebenezer Sendey
Ebenezer Sendey's winning performance at the 2020 Final of the Young Drummer of the Year Event held in the UK. All entrants must be under 16 and send in a video of themselves playing. A shortlist of 40 is decided, then the top 10 are chosen to come and play in front of a panel of professional players and music industry heavyweights. Not only do they perform a solo, an accompaniment to some prerecorded music, and a 'live' piece with 2 other musicians (a piece of music that they only heard the morning of the event); but they are also have an informal chat with the judges about music and themselves. The event, this year, is kindly sponsored by PDP Drums, Meinl Cymbals, GEWA Bags & Cases & Gibraltar Hardware. Filmed at Artrix Bromsgrove UK

Story behind the track : "Bad Habits’ narrates the story of a girl who is tired of being in a relationship. Even though she is deeply in love, she wants to leave the guy as she’s impatient and distressed of the relationship, but can’t because the guy has become her bad habit., “Bad Habits is a very special track for us. The song is a dark and emotional track which tells the story of a relationship between a guy and a girl. We wanted to capture the emotional energy and intensity that we experience when we decide to walk away from something that was a significant part of our lives.
