Aleah Mo - a Hip Hop Battle round
Aleah Mo is a 19-year-old hip hop dancer, teacher and choreographer at The Movement Initiative dance company based in Portsmouth. She has taught abroad on her own and achieved becoming world champion over the years with her team. Aleah has been dancing since she was 8, competing since she was 10 and teaching since she was 16 - er strongest dance styles are Hip Hop (new school) and R and B / Urban. She taught in Slovakia back in 2018 and 2019 for 2 different summer dance camps and teaches regular classes and rehearsals in her company’s studio. She is also an assistant choreographer to Tega Alex who is Aleah’s mentor, friend and head choreographer / director of the company. In the years of 2017, 2018 and 2019 Aleah became a World Champion in All-Style Battle Crew with her group The Young Lions which consisted of 5 – 7 members from the school. As well as Battle Crew, Aleah’s team (the Young Dream Chasers) won the IDO world championships in 2017 for the Junior Hip Hop Formations. The same happened for her in 2019 when her current team (the Dream Chasers Collective) took a gold medal home for winning the world championships of IDO for Adult Hip Hop Formations. This win took her team many years of dedication and hard work to achieve.

Reggae band - Emiliyah and the MightyZ All stars performing their original song 'Sunshine' live for their promo! The track was released on the 19th of December 2020! They are an amazing reggae group based in Portsmouth, Southsea. The band creates such fantastic music and even performs around Portsmouth. They are led by Emiliyah Witkiewicz who is truly phenomenal! The track 'Sunshine' is the first song on their new album of the same name.
