My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close! The players: Sam Ewens: Piccolo, Eb & Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Baritone, Euphonium (samuel.ewens@googlemail.com) Hugh Davies: Piccolo, Eb & Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba (hugh@realbrass.co.uk) Carol Jarvis: Euphonium, Tuba (caroljarvis@mac.com)
