Signature Contemporary part 2 at 'Celebrate' 2018

Signature are a contemporary group based in Portsmouth underneath the company - The Movement Initiative. It’s currently a group of girls 14 – 18 years old who are passionate and dedicated to the style and extremely talented! They are currently choreographed by an amazing dancer Lucy Atkins and assistant choreographer Freya Williams. Signature was created in 2015 and the group has continued to grow and advance! They have competed in only a handful of competitions since forming but each time have come out successful and even on top! Signature have performed and The Movement Initiative’s annual show ‘Celebrate’ 3 times in 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well as competing at Platform Dance Festival with a team dance, multiple solos, duos and small group routines too. Some of the girls go and compete alone in competitions such as PDA championships too. Due to the lockdown, the group have recently started up again but have been spending their training time choreographing routines and catching up with lost time together. The team are always looking to invite new members to join so make sure to check them out.

Profiiit - Son Of Zeus
As the third track to Profiiit's newest album, 'Alexander' (released 28/02/22 Dead Poets Society), 'Son Of Zeus' features the diverse and talented rapper at full-force. The track also features some alternative uses of sampling as a spoken word about "the frontiers of space" which rounds up the track superbly.Profiiit is a groundbreaking and restless force in the East Coast US underground rap scene. His style cannot be simply defined in terms of genres due to his insatiable need to constantly move and push his sound to new levels, however influences include J. Cole, Kanye West, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar and the late XXXTENTACION. Something Profiiit has in common with all of these inspirations is a long endeavour for greatness.

Marigold from Flamingods fourth studio album ‘Levitation’ on Moshi Moshi Records: http://smarturl.it/LevitationDirected by Barbu.TV, Marigold was shot on a trip to Oman which involved hazardous border crossings, Omani motorbike riders and the band creating their own ornate jackets. Shooting the video in and around the remote city of Nizwa you’re taken on a vibrant journey, featuring innovative camerawork and hypnotic animation. “We had heard about this gang of motorbike riding youths through our friend and knew immediately that we wanted to make a music video with them. They live in a remote city in Oman called Nizwa and have had these vintage bikes passed down from generation to generation. I put all my energy into this video. Pushing my limits.. I called the video "Tiger shot " which refers to the character Kojiro Hyuga in Captain Tsubasa. Tiger shot is the name of his most powerful pulls. Since I was little I love this manga and this character is a great inspiration and motivation. Go to see if you don't know him..
