Flight of the Bumblebee - Canadian Brass
Brandon was inspired to write this arrangement of "Flight of the Bumblebee" for his colleagues by the trumpet and piano arrangement he and his father Rich Ridenour created for their own duo. XVIV - Original Music For Brass by Hugh Davies
My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close!
