THE PERSISTENCE OF MEMORY is from the brand-new debut EP ‘Alive & Surviving’ from newcomer Pat Spencer, working with producer JoeSach. Emerging out of South East London, upcoming artist Pat Spencer and producer JoeSach have collaborated to create their debut EP, 'Alive & Surviving'. JoeSach's intricate instrumental elements and Spencer's intimate lyricism have combined to form a smooth and soulful sound that reflects and reminisces upon conscious thoughts and the reality of every day life. Dylan Pilgrim - IDO Junior Hip Hop World Champion 2018
Dylan Pilgrim is an 18-year-old Hip Hop dancer and choreographer at The Movement Initiative dance company from Portsmouth. He has competed internationally and achieved World Championship and European Championship titles for his talent. From 2017 to 2019 he achieved roughly nine 1st place titles. Dylan has become World Champion for Junior Male Hip Hop solos 2 years in a row and 1 European championship title in solos as well. He is also world champion in 2 different teams from The Movement Initiative – YDC back in 2017 and 2018 and currently DCC are reigning Champions from 2019. In 2019, Dylan was asked to travel to Slovakia to teach at 2 different summer camps for a week. The ages of groups he was asked to teach ranged from young kids to teenagers to adults and he taught many different styles. Because of all his achievements, he is well respected and well recognised in the dance industry as he should be!
Aleah Mo - 'Pookie' Choreography
Aleah Mo is a 19-year-old hip hop dancer, teacher and choreographer at The Movement Initiative dance company based in Portsmouth. She has taught abroad on her own and achieved becoming world champion over the years with her team. Aleah has been dancing since she was 8, competing since she was 10 and teaching since she was 16 - er strongest dance styles are Hip Hop (new school) and R and B / Urban. She taught in Slovakia back in 2018 and 2019 for 2 different summer dance camps and teaches regular classes and rehearsals in her company’s studio. She is also an assistant choreographer to Tega Alex who is Aleah’s mentor, friend and head choreographer / director of the company. In the years of 2017, 2018 and 2019 Aleah became a World Champion in All-Style Battle Crew with her group The Young Lions which consisted of 5 – 7 members from the school. As well as Battle Crew, Aleah’s team (the Young Dream Chasers) won the IDO world championships in 2017 for the Junior Hip Hop Formations. The same happened for her in 2019 when her current team (the Dream Chasers Collective) took a gold medal home for winning the world championships of IDO for Adult Hip Hop Formations. This win took her team many years of dedication and hard work to achieve.
