Profiiit - Son Of Zeus
As the third track to Profiiit's newest album, 'Alexander' (released 28/02/22 Dead Poets Society), 'Son Of Zeus' features the diverse and talented rapper at full-force. The track also features some alternative uses of sampling as a spoken word about "the frontiers of space" which rounds up the track superbly.Profiiit is a groundbreaking and restless force in the East Coast US underground rap scene. His style cannot be simply defined in terms of genres due to his insatiable need to constantly move and push his sound to new levels, however influences include J. Cole, Kanye West, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar and the late XXXTENTACION. Something Profiiit has in common with all of these inspirations is a long endeavour for greatness.

Don't ask me! There I was in a slow, bluesy, old beat up piano kind of mood when something overtook the process. Imagine Todd Rundgren a la 'Bat Out of Hell' meets Brian May's 'Red Special' and you'll get the idea. 'At the end of the day Brian, it's a game of two halves (J.G.)'.
