All of these takes were done with me holding the microphone like a dynamic junk stage mic... it was late and I didn't think I'd make a whole project but decided to go for it. Definitely rough, a good bit of reverb and effects added on the tracks to beef up the sound, but absolutely no pitch correction at all.

I used to write a lot when I was in middle school/high school. I haven't written a story for fun since I was maybe 16 or 17. I am a bit rusty, but with practice I'll be even better than I was before.Oh and I now have a mic cover for my mic now. I think the sound is much better than it was before, but of course it can still improve. It was gifted to me and I didn't realize how much of an improvement it would make until now.https://www.reddit.com/r/writingcriti...

Flamingods - Rhama

The concept for the Rhama music video revolves around a mysterious society of Pakistani wrestlers that are present in Dubai. Dedicating their lives to a traditional form of wrestling called Kushti, their matches take place every Friday during sunset in a sandy lot of land in old Dubai. Over the past few months we have attended these matches, and got to know the wrestlers with the help of our Urdu translator. In making this video, the Barbu TV guys were invited to live in their rural Al Ain apartment for a few days. The video shows the culture surrounding the wrestling, and the symbolism and ritual behind it; as well as flashes of everyday Pakistani life in the UAE – perhaps a surprising visual given the country’s notoriety for being a glossy metropolis.Directed By: Barbu.tv - Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/barbutv // Facebook: https://goo.gl/zQubL8 Cameraman: Yannick poffet Edit: Maxime Cramatte Drone Operator - Sameer Antulay Opening Credits by Raimund Wong - http://www.raimundwong.com

BROOKLYNN - i hate it here

On and on it goes i know It’s just a part of me Never ever been something I control How did we get here I fear I’m worried for my life Is it just a matter of time Before we go Momma oh Momma oh how I hate it here Oh how I hate it here The cycle carried on Just like a feather in the wind It was hard to trace it back But we knew it’d never end And the houses They were never ever built on sinking sand They were built on backs of men They were trying to break The kingdom grew and told those men That they were never great And they showed them only hate Anytime they were showcased Okay Momma oh Momma oh how I hate it here Oh how I hate it here There were bruises left in history They kept a mystery from us And the people that tried to break us They only feared us Because we were too free We were too free We were too free We were too free Momma oh Momma oh how I hate it here Oh how I hate it here Momma oh Momma oh how I hate it here Oh how I hate it Momma oh Momma oh how I hate it here Oh how I hate it here
