A single made in the Calais 'jungle' refugee camp. A collaboration between camp musicians and UK musicians. Part of an album made over the last 9 months.The Jeeni Refugee Aid channel supports refugee aid and charities across the world.
XVIV - Original Music For Brass by Hugh Davies
My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close!
