The UP Youth Choir is a multi-cultural and diverse group of young performers representing all races, religions and economic groups of South Africa. It is the mission of the UP Youth Choir to provide children of all different backgrounds with a unique program of music education and choral performance that seeks to fulfill and develop each singer's potential, while creating a model of artistic excellence and diversity that enriches the community. The UP Youth Choir was established with the aim of affording talented teenagers and high school students the opportunity to proficiently perform locally and abroad.The choir consists of 90 choristers aged 14 - 19 from the greater Tshwane and represents 34 different high schools. The choir’s repertoire is an exciting assortment of South African and International music which incorporates elements of traditional music, jazz, gospel and folk music. The UP Youth Choir is recognized worldwide for its award-winning performances and spectacular artistry.

Hourglass achtungdanThanks for dropping by! I am an aspiring guitarist and songwriter. I have been learning to play on Rocksmith 2014 for just over three years and recently took the leap into writing my own songs. I am delighted and a little nervous about presenting the first song I have written, performed and produced. I am learning all the time but I realise without feedback there is only so far an aspiring artist can go. So I have decided to take action and post my work. Hailing from the south coast of England in Portsmouth, DARKSTARGRAVER is an exciting UK rap prospect for 2021, who comes highly recommended if you like the hard-hitting sounds of Skepta, Lyricism of Denzel Curry, the artistry of A$AP Rocky and the stylistic flair of Kojey Radical.The 22-year old British Zambian rapper, singer and songwriter DarkStarGraver honed his skills in the south of England, and has established himself at the forefront of the emerging Hip Hop scene in Portsmouth, DarkStarGraver draws his influences from diverse cultures and backgrounds, having experienced life all over the UK in his very young 23 years, from Birmingham to Kensal Green to Richmond to Glasgow – travels and experiences which have shaped his perspective, musical tastes and styles, as is evident on his new Burning Bridges EP.

I was inspired to write a song about how Christmas feels as a kid to how it feels now. Admittedly, with a lot happening in the last year, Christmas feels very strange for me this year. I tried to capture it in song form.I’d love to hear your feedback on this. Hopefully more original stuff to come in 2020.
