'Black Book' is centred around being on the wrong side of the law and the song reflects on the irony of consequences catching up at the most inopportune moment; a real reminder that life sometimes has a way of kicking a person when they are down. This single includes performances from Larry Saltzman (guitarist for Paul Simon) and Charles Giordano (piano-accordion and keyboard player for Bruce Springsteen).
