The 'Vice Versa Love' singer has thrown down the gauntlet for persons to start valuing the lives of each other to see less chaos and enmity manifesting globally. The single, which is written by Barrington Levy and Jeeni Ambassador Gary Benson, and music composed by Handel Tucker, features an amazing soundtrack reminiscent of a reggae orchestra with a hard core pulse. According to the band, “Chemical Sleep is a look at the effects of addiction, through the eyes of a friend. While the song itself never refers to any particular vices, it can be applied to any and all ways in which we harm ourselves or seek escape. The song explores the attitude and personality changes we have seen in people close to us, from the excuses and lies we make to hide our habits, to the way we push others away when they try to help us.”
