XVIV - Original Music For Brass by Hugh Davies
My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close! Suffolk Bay, the debut single by singer-songwriter Ariana May.Ariana is a 16 year old British singer-songwriter who's classical training in piano and singing from a young age has developed into a love of composing and performing. Her style is a potpourri of alternative, pop, rock and folk music, and she has a wide compass of influences: ranging from Kate Bush, Supertramp, AURORA and Birdy to Johannes Brahms, Leonard Bernstein, Michael Legrand, John Barry and Justin Hurwitz.

Fantastic original song called 'Figurines of Glass' by The Day of the Rabblement which was Recorded live at The Wine Vaults, Southsea. This song was created back when the group made music of the folk and acoustic style which they have developed from now but this song is still so great!The five-piece band is made up of talented and creative musicians and singers especially their female lead singer - Khaleda Brophy-Harmer. Each member of the Portsmouth based band play their own instruments on all of the songs which typically is a form of guitar .
