I was inspired to write a song about how Christmas feels as a kid to how it feels now. Admittedly, with a lot happening in the last year, Christmas feels very strange for me this year. I tried to capture it in song form.I’d love to hear your feedback on this. Hopefully more original stuff to come in 2020.

It is a tradition that can be defined by 8 socio-musical elements: mariachi instrumentation and texture, musical genres and sub genres, performance methods and styles, singing styles and forms, dance styles, performative space, performance clothing, and the word "mariachi".
