John Bettley was one of my music teachers at school he inspired me and many others to make wonderful music and sadly in my last year of school he got run over while crossing a road. when i heard the news i went and took out all my feelings on my piano and this is the result. hope you enjoy listening. My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close!
