XVIV - Original Music For Brass by Hugh Davies
My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close! DIY artist Megan Linford taking on the DIY videos at home during the Lockdown. Only You is the 2nd track from Isolation Tapes released in December 2020. This song always felt to me like a love note to someone. Words that have waited too long to come out and you just can't wait any longer. I used this concept of writing that love note to inspire the visuals for this track!
