Kastopia - drum solo
KASTOPIA are a Jazz/Funk/Rock fusion band from the south coast of England. Inspired by progressive 80s Jazz fusion, they bridge the gap between crazy improvised solos and tasteful choruses within their original compositions. Steve Dalachinsky - read new works
Poet/collagist STEVE DALACHINSKY was born in Brooklyn after the last big war and has managed to survive lots of little wars. His book The Final Nite (Ugly Duckling Presse) won the PEN Oakland National Book Award. His most recent books are Fools Gold (2014 feral press), a superintendent’s eyes (revised and expanded 2013/14 – unbearable/autonomedia) and flying home, a collaboration with German visual artist Sig Bang Schmidt (Paris Lit Up Press 2015).
She-Oak Affair - Kissing The Flint
Written by Leah Chynoweth-Tidy for her debut Kissing The Flint EP 'Unconditionality' released in 2019, this upbeat track reminds us that life far too often gets manic and we need to remember to take the time to slow down or stop and smell the roses. Or in this case, relaxing on the sand under the shade of a She-Oak tree, gazing at the sea and downing a cold drink - or three!
