Victorious

Victorious Festival 2021 is on! Once again, the biggest names in music head to Southsea Portsmouth for an August Bank Holiday celebration.  This year's line up is taking shape, with headliners The Streets and Royal Blood returning, alongside a host of other top acts and up-and-coming bands. Friday will see Madness make their return to the festival. They'll be joined on the night by The Kooks, Feeder, Peter Hook & The Light, and Terrorvision.  There are huge names lined up for the Saturday, with The Streets headlining the Common Stage. They're joined on the bill by ex-Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, as well as Rag'n'Bone Man, Blossoms and Morcheeba. The Afternoon Special Guest slot is taken this year by Craig David, bringing his TS5 to start the party.  The Festival is drawn to a close on the Sunday by rock and roll heavyweights Royal Blood. Before them there will be sets by Supergrass, Fontaines DC, Miles Kane, Melanie C and a whole load more - including Frank Turner making his return to the Afternoon Special Guest slot. Over on the Castle Stage, there's a party with Nile Rodgers & Chic, whilst elsewhere on the line up, you'll find Annie Mac, Ella Eyre and Clean Bandit (playing a DJ set).  As well as many other stages, including the World Music Village who will be back again to transport festivals goers across the globe. Vibrant and bustling, there is so much to see and do. Experience performances by top artists from around the world, and the chance to attend various different workshops.

RD Watson

Daniel Gerendas

Dániel Gerendás, from Budapest, Hungary. I had started to play drums at the age of 3, at the initiative of my father Peter Gerendas, the famous Hungarian guitar virtuoso, singer and song writer. I was tutored for the first time at the age of 4. My first appearance in a concert hall took place at the age of 5 in the Budapest Congress Centre, where my father staged a Memorial Concert for George Harrison. As of the age of 5, I have also learnt to play South American percussion instruments. After the age of 6, I became the No.1 drummer in my father's band, with which we had many concerts both home and abroad. Later on, I attended the Jazz Faculty of the Music Conservatory. I have a very broad musical palate, and play in Latin, pop, jazz, rock, and metal bands. I have so far contributed to several hundred concerts and played on many CDs.

University Of Pretoria Youth Choir

The UP Youth Choir is a multi-cultural and diverse group of young performers representing all races, religions and economic groups of South Africa. The UP Youth Choir was established with the aim of affording talented teenagers and high school students the opportunity to proficiently perform locally and abroad. ​The choir consists of 90 choristers aged 14 - 19 from the greater Tshwane and represents 34 different high schools.  The choir’s repertoire is an exciting assortment of South African and International music which incorporates elements of traditional music, jazz, gospel and folk music.
