I have been learning to play on Rocksmith 2014 for just over three years and recently took the leap into writing my own songs. I am delighted and a little nervous about presenting the first song I have written, performed and produced. I am learning all the time but I realise without feedback there is only so far an aspiring artist can go. So I have decided to take action and post my work. Chemical Sleep

According to the band, “Chemical Sleep is a look at the effects of addiction, through the eyes of a friend. While the song itself never refers to any particular vices, it can be applied to any and all ways in which we harm ourselves or seek escape. The song explores the attitude and personality changes we have seen in people close to us, from the excuses and lies we make to hide our habits, to the way we push others away when they try to help us.”
