hi, after being busy with publisher work i finally managed to get some new solo stuff done, this time its a melodic asian themed track which is supposed to be beautiful and majestic with a soaring melody but also epic and pompous with its thunderous tribal taiko drums and catchy piano rhytms. i wanted a theme that depicts a strong, honorable female warrior, i do hope you enjoy as this took quite some days to get sound like i wanted, esp. the percussion

Flamingods - Rhama
The concept for the Rhama music video revolves around a mysterious society of Pakistani wrestlers that are present in Dubai. Dedicating their lives to a traditional form of wrestling called Kushti, their matches take place every Friday during sunset in a sandy lot of land in old Dubai. Over the past few months we have attended these matches, and got to know the wrestlers with the help of our Urdu translator. In making this video, the Barbu TV guys were invited to live in their rural Al Ain apartment for a few days. Hustle Souls - Make Believe
The Band: In the budding music-mecca of Asheville, NC, a man with a trumpet, an acoustic guitar and a mission metamorphosed into the synergistic soul/indie-pop band, Hustle Souls. With 2 ½ years of touring under their belt, the band’s feel-good, modern meets vintage sound, have earned them a reputation as one of the region’s most promising independent acts. Lead singer and keyboardist, Billy Litz’s rootsy influences and vulnerable compositions are embroidered, garnished, and decked out by a powerhouse soul band. The rhythm section, Tommy Moore and Sean McCann aggressively usher in a tight jazz and R&B influence, while guitarist, Chris Everett, brings the group to the next level with his rock-ribbed feel. In 2017 the band was approached by gold and platinum mixer and producer Eric “Mixerman” Sarafin (Ben Harper, the Broadcast, Pharcyde) about making a record which has set the ball rolling at a different pace. Hustle Souls’ eclectic sound has come together on their debut full-length album, “Color.”
