Harmonies stack, as the musicians reach a triumphant yet vulnerable precipice. The arrival of a montuno transports them towards a utopia, and launching into a timba-inflected breakdown, COLECTIVA take us home, above the trees, within the earth, where we are one, the big cats chasing snakes while deer run free.Their first single, Under The came to life when jazz pianist Maria Grapsa brought an early arrangement of the tune to the collective. I have been playing for around 20 years in different bands. For the last 5 years, I've been doing a solo show where I fell in love with the art of looping. If you have any questions, requests, or thought about my music please don't be afraid to share them with me. My biggest influences are Marc Rebillet, Reggie Watts, & Keller Williams. They have really been the driving force in my journey to loop.
