XVIV - Original Music For Brass by Hugh Davies
My original idea was for it to be played on 19 valved brass instruments but it ended up as the following: Piccolo trumpet, Eb Trumpet, 4 Bb trumpets, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, 2 Euphoniums, 2 Tubas. Most of which were doubled. I think thats 13 parts in all, so close! They are an amazing reggae group based in Portsmouth, Southsea. The band creates such fantastic music and even performs around Portsmouth. They are led by Emiliyah Witkiewicz who is truly phenomenal!The track 'Sunshine' is the first song on their new album of the same name.
