Long Distance Baby
From the Borealis albumLong Distance BabyLong distance babyWe'e takin the long way downYoure the stars youre TipperaryAll the miles in your eyes of brownMy long distance babyLong distance babyAll the pictures I took in my mindYour smile your wedding dressI reach out but theyre hard to findLying crumpled somewhere in a recessWe bled out all our high timesWe drove just too damn hardAn ocean between our primeAnd a love to worn and scarredIts a long distance babyLong distance babyYou gotta keep that rig a rollinHaul that bag of bonesOr she'll be on that mystery train boySixteen coaches longLong distance babyWe're takin the long way downIf we could even talk some maybeWe could pull out of this ghost townI want to send out this wounded white doveOut beyond the water wideAnd meet again my first loveDown by the riversideBut its a long distance babyLong distance babyLong distance baby
