About me
Multi-award nominated Australian singer-songwriter currently based in her father's native Scotland. Performing as Kissing The Flint (meaning 'to create a spark'), she released her debut EP 'Unconditionality' in 2019 and followed up with a 2024 album 'Standing On The Fringe of Rooms' which she toured in Australia and the UK. Her third album 'Rule The World' is due for release in 2025.

Australian singer-songwriter Leah Jett aka Kissing The Flint released her second album 'Standing On The Fringe of Rooms' in 2024 on an Australia tour, which is the follow up to her 2019 debut EP 'Unconditionality'. A blazing, blues-rock journey along the hotel room corridors of the human condition, inspired by observance, experience, empathy - and a global pandemic. I Won't Look Back is a honky tonk number written by Australian singer-songwriter Leah Chynoweth-Tidy aka Kissing The Flint. A song about a girl taking back control of her love life and telling her man she's walking down the road if he doesn't start to treat her right! Official Music video was funded through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) in Queensland, Australia - it was filmed by Wezzy Cruze and released in 2019 and can be enjoyed on Kissing The Flint's Youtube channel.
